Ron Schomer is an experienced finance leader with 15 years of experience in commercial banking and corporate finance. His experience as a commercial banker and various roles in corporate finance provide a unique perspective to solving complex business issues.
He spent the first 5 years of his professional career in commercial banking with a large commercial bank. During this time, he worked closely with private and publicly held companies to provide commercial banking services. His efforts focused on gaining an in depth understanding of each business and advising owners and CFOs on various finance related challenges. He structured several complex transactions that included working capital lines of credit, term debt, equipment financing, commercial mortgages, and acquisition financing.
Since 2004, Ron has worked in various financial leadership roles with large, publicly traded companies. His focus has been on projects that deliver bottom line results by recognizing inefficiencies and improving business processes.
Ron has a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Michigan, an Associate’s Degree from Northwood University and is currently pursuing a MBA from The University of Michigan.
